Trainee Smart Technician

Arden Maidstone is looking for a Trainee Smart Technician.

Your role

You will carry out work specified that is stated on the job cards, and suggest any additional work that may need attention, and maintain all the necessary paperwork and computer updates for each booking.

Other duties include:

  • To work on electric and hybrid vehicles only once fully trained
  • To focus on repair first time
  • Working to a reasonable time schedule
  • Carrying out repairs and replacing damaged parts to manufacturer standards and using instructions
  • Road testing the vehicle to check the repair work where necessary.
  • Carrying out standard checks on equipment
  • Keep the work area and all workshop equipment clean and tidy at all times. (Sweep up and pick all litter as required)
  • Ensure all keys are securely placed in the key cabinet
  • Report any damage to vehicles caused by vehicle movement immediately to your line manager
