Stephen James Enfield is looking for Trainee SMART Repair Technician

Your role

As a Trainee S.M.A.R.T Repair Technician, you will be working alongside the qualified Technicians in the team providing hands on support to them to learn all aspects of the role including, body prep (masking, sanding), colour match, spray, and paint finish, on vehicles involved in collisions and other incidents. Don't worry if you're a beginner, we have the expertise, tools, and equipment you require to support you in your SMART Repair career.

The main duties of the role include:

  • Examine vehicles to identify additional work for repair
  • Surface Preparation
  • Wheel refurbishments
  • Cosmetic paint repairs
  • Interior seat fabric repairs
  • Minor dent removals
  • Painting to the manufacturer paint specification
  • Document all work performed
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements

Your profile

  • Have a desire to work in the automotive industry, repairing vehicles
  • Commit to on-the-job training for 12 months
  • Have a positive attitude and work ethic
  • Have a full Driving Licence
  • Must have eligibility to work in the UK
