Workshop Controller

Vertu Malton are looking for a Workshop Controller.

Your role

The role will involve for ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resource of your team. Workshop Controllers assign technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to. As a line manager you are responsible for performance management.

You will lead, coach and develop your team and know how to get the best out of people, so they perform to their highest level. Quality checking, ordering of parts, audits and compliance as well as health and safety are also important aspects of this role.

Your profile

It is essential you have proven experience within the motor industry, ideally within a Workshop Controller role. You will also have exceptional communication skills and a full valid UK driving license.
