Barretts Canterbury are looking for a Service Technician.
Working on the electrical and mechanical systems for a range of BMW models, every day will be packed with variety. With our diagnostic technology at your fingertips, you’ll inspect components for wear and tear, carry out technical maintenance, repair or replace parts, as well as verifying vehicle functions and their subsystems.
The successful candidate will be skilled in all aspects of diagnostics, electronics, servicing and vehicle repairs. You must be flexible, focused and a great team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
The Service department is a fast-paced and challenging environment. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on the latest technology in an environment that demands quality workmanship whilst maintaining a commitment to outstanding customer service and ‘right first time’ repairs. Ideally you will already have a minimum of 3 years’ proven service experience with either BMW or a similar premium motor brand.
You will be required to work a shift pattern of 43 hours per week, Monday to Saturday and you must have a full UK driving licence for both manual and automatic vehicles.
