Service Advisor

Vertu Malton are looking for a Service Advisor. 

Your role

As a Service Advisor, you will deliver a seamless experience to our customers in the Aftersales department in a professional, prompt and courteous manner. You will advise on technical queries or issues, book vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, inform customers of the progress of their vehicle, advise the customer on any repairs or parts required, and subsequently finalising the invoice on completion of the required work.

Your profile

We are willing to take someone without motor retail experience, so long as you have some proven customer service experience. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines. In addition, you will have time management skills and have a proactive approach to customer service.

If your application is successful, we will need to complete employment checks prior to you starting with us. Depending on the role, these can include us verifying your recent employment, address and credit history. We may also conduct a criminal record check and a driving licence check.
