Your role

As the bodyshop manger, you will ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the bodyshop department by satisfying customers, enhancing customer relations and to help us constantly deliver a 5-star experience to all our customers. This involves examining sales volumes and monitoring labour sales to ensure achievement of budget for the period, whilst also working with the aftersales manager to review all departmental activities and reporting systems, issues and concerns.

You will develop all members of staff to achieve the highest levels of performance in order to hit individual targets and objectives, as well as improving the quality of customer service and retention.

Additionally, you will maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, statutory representatives and all other contacts, acting as the main point of contact, whilst carrying out a regular review of all pricing policies, labour rates, fleet discounts, parts pricing and other dealership policies.

Your profile

You will have proven experience working within the motor trade industry and demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as, the ability to think on your feet to drive the business forward.

You will have excellent IT and administration skills and be focused on delivering results whilst meeting customer expectations, setting high standards for quality and can follow instructions and procedures.
