Your role

You will lead and support your management team in ensuring that company standards, objectives and requirements are met and where possible, exceeded. A ‘true’ people person, you will constantly inspire excellence and consistently motivate by providing the tools to allow your managers to enhance the performance levels of their teams.

With a strategic approach to business, you will recruit key team members, control cash flow, stock levels, and monitor financial performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. You must have the ability to also create solid manufacturer relationships and help increase sales output through promotional activity.

Your profile

As a leader, you’ll know what it takes to run a successful sales team and possess the strength of character, resilience and enthusiasm necessary to do so. Process driven with a track record of exceeding targets, you’ll put the needs of the customer and your team at the heart of everything you do.

The successful candidate will also need to have a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to attend the Director’s meeting in Carlisle every Monday morning to discuss sales performance for the previous week, and it is essential that you are visible at our 6 sites during the working week and accessible at weekends.
