Halliwell Jones Southport is looking for an Electronic Vehicle Health Check Specialist.
Your role
Here at Halliwell Jones Ltd we are looking for an outstanding administrator who keeps the customer at the heart of what we do. If that is you, then we have an exciting opportunity for an EVHC Specialist/VHC Specialist. The position is located at our Southport Centre which is a fantastic modern facility consisting of Aftersales, Bodyshop and BMW and MINI Sales.
Motor Industry experience is not essential but would be helpful. Do you have an eye for detail, are you excellent at both organising and prioritising your tasks as well as have the ability to take ownership of queries from start to finish then this might be the role for you.
Your Responsibilities:
- To ensure the accurate and efficient processing of completed Vehicle Health Checks by linking with our workshop technicians.
- To ensure all identified Safety and Advisory work is priced accurately and in a timely manner.
- To ensure all customers are contacted to gain authority where work has been reported in a timely manner.
- To contact the customer through their choice of communication channels i.e. Telephone, BMW APP, WhatsApp, email, etc
- To explain to the customer all identified work, prioritise and load red work authorised into the workshop on the day, all declined amber work should be pre-booked back into the workshop around the predicted timeframe.
- To utilise all, provided systems to support the selling process.
- To ensure the accurate recording of reasons for declined work.
Your profile
- Proven ability to effectively sell additional products or services.
- Possess some understanding of automotive systems and components, e.g. Drive and RTC plus any additional systems required to fulfil the role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Confidence in promoting safety items and convincing customers of their benefits.
- Efficiently manage time to handle multiple VHCs and customer interactions.
- Ability to address customer concerns and find effective solutions.
