Stephen James BMW is looking for an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician.

Your role

As an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Alloy wheel repairs to the highest standard. This will include repairs to all makes and models of alloy wheels and a wide array of finishes, damage will include scratches, scuffs, dents. You will prioritise according to business needs and carry out work using cutting edge equipment and techniques and ensuring the process is completed to an exceptional high standard.

The main duties of the role include:

  • To repair scratches, scuffs and dents, on alloy wheels of all make model and styles
  • Spray painting & Powder-coating all makes and models of Alloys
  • To refurbish alloy wheels, by aqua blasting, sand blasting, chemical paint stripping, labelling and alloy identification 
  • To have the ability to work to a high standard within agreed workshop timeframes

Your profile

  • To have experience as a SMART/Alloy Repair Technician or in a similar Bodyshop environment working on vehicle repairs and restoration and have powder-coating and Diamond cut alloy repair experience
  • To enjoy exceeding customer expectations and working to a high standard 
  • To have physical and manual dexterity to undertake detailed repair work
  • To have a valid, clean UK Driving Licence and must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary and hours

Basic Salary £27,500, OTE £ 32,300 per annum

Working hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
