Group Used Car Buyer

Halliwell Jones (Chester) is looking for a Group Used Car Buyer. 

Your role

The position is located at our Chester Centre which is a fantastic modern facility including BMW and MINI Sales, Aftersales and Bodyshop.  On offer is a competitive salary, ongoing training and great career progression opportunities.

Your responsibilities:

• To assist the Sales Managers/Sales Controllers in achieving sales plans and internal budgets. 
• To control the age profile of group stock in conjunction with sales Managers/Sales Controllers and to purchase the required target of used cars from all sources.

Your profile

• Experience including highly developed stock purchase and negotiating skills.
• Working knowledge of Drive, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• BMW and MINI brand experience is not essential. 
• Excellent administration and communication skills.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop and keep up-to-date with product information.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• An enthusiastic, dynamic and team-orientated personality.
• Team player that offers help and support to others.
