JKC is looking for a Parts Advisor. 

Your role

We are seeking a highly motivated parts advisor to join our successful parts team. The role will based at our new workshop at Coleraine Harbour.

As a Parts Advisor, you will enjoy working in a busy trade department ensuring the correct parts are ordered for customers both internal and external, while exceeding expectations where possible, and delivering high-class service.  

The main duties of the role include:

• Liaise with customers, assisting in identifying and sourcing parts
• Ensure parts are correctly ordered to specification and checked on arrival
• Follow up with customers on the progress of parts and prices
• Maintain a tidy Parts department and workstation
• Assist with stock checks, identifying damaged goods or losses

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Effective communication skills
• Proven experience working as a Parts Advisor, in a motor-trade environment
• Commitment to delivering customer excellence
• A good standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
• A keen eye for detail
• Previous experience in a target-driven role
• Core skills in computing are essential
• Experience with Kerridge an advantage
• A full, clean driving licence
