Welcome to the future of automotive retail
Your technical knowhow and our state-of-the-art technology – it’s an unbeatable combination. We’re using diagnostic technology in our workshops that’s years ahead of the competition. It makes our lives easier and gets our vehicles back on the road where they belong as quickly as possible.
Don’t worry if the digital world is a bit daunting to you at the moment. At our purpose-built, state-of-the-art training and development facility in Wokefield Park (near Reading), The BMW Group Academy UK will provide you with the training required to get you up-to-speed.
As a Workshop Controller you will play a key role, ensuring the workshop runs smoothly and efficiently.
You will calculate and manage the use of workshop resources effectively, monitoring staff and workshop performance to maintain standards. As a Workshop Controller you will allocate work to the Technicians based on the mix of skills available and resolve customer queries according to dealership and manufacturers guidelines.
You will possess excellent technical knowledge gained in the retail motor industry, as well as previous management experience in a similar role. We would also consider a Technician looking to progress. As a target-orientated team player, your good time management and multi-tasking skills will set you apart. A full UK driving licence will also be essential.
Your hard work will be rewarded with a pension scheme, subsidised manufacturer car purchase scheme available to both you and your family, access to use of BMW products, access to bespoke training courses at the state-of- the-art BMW Training Academy and BMW accreditation and certification.
